About Me

about me CHEF SANYA

Hi, I’m Sanya, and if you had told the younger me—curled up on the kitchen floor, watching my mom slice vegetables with a rhythm I found almost musical—that one day I’d build an entire website around food, I would’ve just smiled and said, “Only if I can do it my way.”

That’s the heart of TrickRecipe.com—doing things your way, with a little help, a clever shortcut, and a lot of heart.

I grew up in a house where food wasn’t just a necessity—it was a language. It was how we showed love, how we gathered after long days, how we celebrated and mourned and made ordinary days feel a little more special. But what fascinated me most weren’t just the dishes—it was how they came together. I was always asking “Why this? What if I changed that?” I wasn’t trying to be difficult—I was just curious. And that curiosity followed me into adulthood.

While everyone else followed recipes to the letter, I was the one rewriting them in the margins. I didn’t just want to cook—I wanted to understand cooking. Why some cakes sink. Why some sauces separate. Why a little salt in a dessert makes it unforgettable. I messed up a lot. I burnt more than I care to admit. But each mistake was a lesson, and every success felt like magic.

Eventually, friends and family started asking, “How did you make this so fast?” or “What did you do differently?” And just like that, the idea for TrickRecipe.com was born:

A space where home cooks could learn the “why” behind the “how,” discover clever kitchen hacks, and fall in love with cooking in a way that’s smart, simple, and stress-free.
