Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made or homemade pie crust
  • 4 cups of fresh or frozen fruit (e.g., apples, berries)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (or alternative sweetener)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • Prepare pie crust in a 9-inch pan.

  • Mix fruit, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla; pour into crust.

  • In a bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and cold butter. Crumble on top.

  • Bake for 45 minutes. Remove and let cool 15 minutes.

  • Bake again at 350°F for 15 minutes for crunch.

 

  • Cool completely before slicing.
