Description

Creamy beef and bowtie pasta is the ultimate one-pot comfort food. Made with juicy ground beef, parmesan, and a luscious cream sauce, this dinner comes together in 35 minutes and satisfies every craving. Perfect for weeknights, leftovers, and picky eaters alike.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340gbowtie pasta 
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 or lean) 
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream or half-and-half 
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated parmesan cheese 
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth 
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or unsalted butter 
  • 1/2 tsp paprika 
  • Salt and black pepper to taste 
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  • Cook Pasta:
    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Brown the Beef:
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions for 2 minutes, add garlic, then add ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.

  • Build the Sauce:
    Reduce heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and beef broth. Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Add Cheese:
    Stir in parmesan and let it melt into the sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.

  • Combine with Pasta:
    Add the cooked bowtie pasta. Toss everything to coat evenly. Simmer for 2 more minutes.

  • Serve Hot:
    Garnish with parsley or extra cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
